BRANDERELLA WEB DESIGN POLICY

We have launched numerous successful projects with entrepreneurs since our launch.  We have established a step by step workflow and have a clear idea of what makes or breaks a web design project. Here are our requests for a smooth, fruitful collaboration:

  1. We require you to keep important decisions and communications to email; that way, we both have something to refer back to should the need arise. We will also keep all critical correspondence via email. This creates mutual accountability for both parties and reduces the chances of oral miscommunication.

  2. We expect you to respond to all our communications within 96 weekday hours. Exceptions are made for weekdays and public holidays. We hold ourselves to the same standard and respond to your email queries within 96 hours during working days except for exceptional circumstances or overlapping administrative obligations. This creates mutual accountability for both parties and minimizes the occurrence of project delays. Please note delays in your communication will extend the original deadline set on our side.   

  3. Both parties may postpone obligations for up to eleven days. This grace period is designed to accommodate human factors that may interfere with the design process. 

  4. You will be required to select or approve a Squarespace template during the design process. Please note that each template comes with a pre-built layout and features. We can make changes to fonts, colour schemes and content within the restrictions of the chosen template. The limits that come with each template are there to facilitate consistency and coherence. We have a high regard for Squarespace template designs. You cannot change your choice of the template once you have approved or made your choice, as this would imply a significant reworking. Please select carefully.

  5. We trust that you hired us because you like the aesthetics at branderella.fr and have seen our portfolio. We require you to delegate and let us lead both the technical & creative aspects of your project to success.

  6. We require that you are decisive when making choices with regards to your website. We reserve the right to request additional service charges if you make a change to the project scope after the content and access submission deadline. 

  7. Hastily written emails impede the communication process. When writing emails, we require that you take the time to synthesize your thoughts and write to us in a concise manner.   This will ensure that there is no room for misunderstanding and will facilitate the speed of projects. We require that you take the time to proofread your emails before sending them to us. 

  8. When writing emails, we require that you focus each email on one objective. We require that all your emails have a clear subject line. This facilitates focus and clarity and paves the path for effective communication. When responding to emails, make sure your response is relevant to the initial topic. 

  9. When initiating a new topic of conversation, please compose a new email and clearly define the topic in the subject area.
